I am trying…

I know that many people are upset about the continued efforts of people in regards to the current political state of affairs. They feel that we should respect and give a chance.

That is all fine and good, but let’s talk history. Are we saying that we all did the right thing in regards to Hitler (and many other examples of genocide) in giving him a chance? It seems to me that we all erred in this area. There were many people raising that ‘red flag’ and yet so many did not heed the information. There was acceptance and collaboration in so many countries and peoples. The loss, the persecution, and the torture were and are totally unacceptable.

So, when we see the warning signs and a government that isn’t doing its best to protect us and our environment, it behooves us to react and not accept. I am not willing to apologize to others for my inability to ‘shut up.’ I will not shut up until the right thing is done.

Seeing good laws that were put into place to right wrongs and to protect and about to be jettisoned with the approval of a large amount of our Senators and Representatives is absolutely unacceptable.

I will not stop my rant because it is not the right thing to do.

I will not resort to writing only about happy things, although I will continue to ‘pepper’ my writings with these, because we cannot give up and we cannot accept that which is inherently wrong. There are times where I question my judgment in different areas but this is NOT one of those times.

It is hard to believe the nightmarish situation that we are in and I cannot help but think that it was most assuredly not done legally. I am amazed that our country’s leaders have not put investigations into place.

Enough of my rant for today, but I will not relent. We must resist.
