My New Best TV Show

They promised snow and this time it actually arrived. Before we went to bed, the snow removal had begun and our son and his crews were all out to plow.

Monday had been a lost day for me as I had a second feverish day. Due to the fever and to the fact that I was trying to make sure that my stomach was not going to use its muscle to remove its contents, I was not eating a whole lot.

My new best friend, TV-wise, is Jerry Seinfeld and his ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ in which Jerry usually shows up to pick up a comedian and then they go to a diner and have coffee and something to eat.

I was binge watching it, since it was the absolute perfect show for me to watch: a simple plot, entertaining, and if I were to fall asleep, no major loss.

I had a fever all day long and went to bed, hoping to get through the night, wondering, since I had slept here and there during the day, if I was even tired enough to do that. I did manage to sleep, but then around 3:30 AM, I woke up and needed to change my t-shirt since I had awakened in a sweat. I walked down the hall and heard the door open and no dog barking. It was our son, stopping for a break before getting back to snow removal. I couldn’t get back to sleep right away.

By 5:30 AM, I went upstairs, since MK was going to get up and go to the kids’ home, since I was sick, and I found out that she had gotten the information that she wasn’t needed right away. I went back to sleep and managed to sleep another two hours, at which time I was drenched again, but this time my fever was gone.

Let’s hope it remains that way.
