A day downtown for the Ladies

final destinationThe day is almost at freezing and it is gray outside. It is a beautiful day, though.

Relatives are in from Ohio and the girls are all downtown the with kids. Perhaps I should have said, “Women,” but perhaps I am not as smart as I should be.

The female grandkids and a grandniece are downtown at the American Girl store, celebrating a recent birthday and one happening tomorrow and gifting the other two as well. It is a special occasion with the arrival yesterday of our grandniece and her parents. We had a great time last evening, catching up, and today was the day for the big trip downtown.

Bill and I went to Bob Chinn’s for lunch while the ladies went downtown. They left early via the train and then took a bus to the. They picked out dolls and then had lunch with them. It was a fun day downtown and an overall great day for all.

Some things are meant to be remembered and this was a very special weekend.
