Pandemic Situations

Have you ever been in a situation that there was no way to prepare for?

A totally unnatural situation that if you had been told a year ago that you would be experiencing, that you would have laughed hysterically and said, « No way! »

Well, without giving out too much information, I have heard people talking of some of the most uncomfortable situations imaginable. Times pretending that the monolithic elephant that was in the room did not exist. Okay, it is no longer a room, but is socially distanced and outside with the wind blowing like crazy and the sun already down. It is cold, it is awkward, it is insane.

It is just way too weird.

Getting up the desire to even deal with such a situation could be a bit much. One must admit after having read a library of books and having seen more than dozens of movies with plots that defy the imagination, that the 2020 scenarios of which I am speaking couldn’t possibly have been come up with by a seriously gifted group of creative thinkers. The 2020 scenarios are above and beyond anyone’s imagination. It makes me wonder what movies will be like once these newly created, Pandemic scenarios get utilized.

There are many a complication and even facets to stories like this that are still unfolding.

Stories like this can trace their origin to the insane elections of 2016 and the arrival on the scene, illegally in my estimate, of the current Oval Office inhabitant. The behaviors that create bizarre scenarios have their origins in those elections.

They are the behaviors instigated by the fake news, of the narratives created for the embellishment of personal agendas, by extremely criminal behavior that is gotten away with, and an intensely mean-spirited outlook totally lacking in empathy.

…and every other day, there is a jeep going by with MAGA banners and American flags…

Save us…count the days.
